Welcome To The Wonderful World of Blogging

I’M officially Live on the Web and looking forward to presenting some valuable content and stories for my readers.

Not real sure how to navigate this site but will surely figure it out in time. 

Today is the day after Veteran’s Day so it was especially nice to wish all my friends and family in the military a heartfelt thanks for your service!   I also want to convey my gratitude for all that veterans have done in keeping our country safe protecting us from the ever-present tyranny seeking the destruction of our way of life in the United States.

Thank you to all our men and women in the military!

On Tuesday I was welcomed on board a Navy Cruiser for a family cruise with my nephew Andy and his wife’s family.  What an experience!  Man, the firepower of that ship and the demonstrations of flyovers and other maneuvers was exceptional.  We watched an F-18 approach our position flying at 200 feet doing just under mach-1 and hitting the sound barrier just off the tail of the ship with an aura or halo of vapor visible at just that moment as he passed the ship. Unbelievable!  I got a slow motion video of the flyby and will upload it to Youtube when time permits.  If you ever have the opportunity to go on a family cruise with a family member in the Navy, you wont be disappointed.
